Terms of Service
The rules for using Parently, for both parents and providers.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Parently apps or website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use Parently
Parently is used exclusively by verified adult parents/guardians on behalf of their children — children never directly access or operate the app. Providers must be legitimate registered or independently operating businesses/individuals offering childcare or learning services.
3. Bookings & payments
When you book a service through Parently, you enter into a service agreement with that provider; Parently facilitates discovery, booking, and payment but is not itself the childcare or education provider. Payments are processed via our payment gateway partners and split to the relevant provider(s) per our commission arrangement with them.
4. Cancellations & refunds
[Insert your specific cancellation window, refund policy, and dispute-resolution process here — these should match the reschedule/cancellation rules implemented in the app.]
5. Provider responsibilities
Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, the safety and quality of the services they deliver, and complying with all applicable licensing and safety regulations for their category.
6. Verification tiers are not a guarantee
Claimed/Verified/Certified badges reflect the level of documentation Parently has reviewed; they are not a guarantee of service quality, and parents should exercise their own judgement when selecting a provider.
7. Content & reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with a provider. We may remove reviews or content that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these terms.
8. Limitation of liability
[Insert your standard limitation-of-liability clause here, reviewed by counsel for enforceability under Indian law.]
9. Changes to these terms
We'll update the version number above whenever these terms change, and notify you in-app of material changes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. [Insert jurisdiction/courts clause here.]
